Where is my Child?

A mother's journey of faith and hope

This is a true story, and throughout Vicky's descent into teenage drug addiction - and in Meg's own battles with both court and social services - we see a mother's love determined to let her child be a child.  A person who needs protection before she is left to herself and the mercies of the harsh world around her.  And faith in a God who never lets go of his loved ones.

Parents, teachers, social workers, as well as those in the war against drug abuse, will find in Meg's story encouragement to remain committed to children no matter what obstacles they may face; while those involved in social reform may need to look again at the legal machinery that can work against the child's best interests.

"Some of the most moving passages in this book are the conversations between mother and daughter.  You may be tempted to be critical and feel you would have handled each situation in a different way.  I guarantee you will benefit by the way Meg sought to live out the promise that God gave her for her three children."  Rev David Coffey
