Mel Menzies (pronounced Ming-iss) is the author of a number of books (one a Sunday Times No. 4 Best Seller), plus numerous articles. Her latest novel, A Painful Post Mortem, is based on her personal knowledge and understanding of what it is like to lose a child. Proceeds from all sales are to support charity: two organisations benefiting children.

An inspirational keynote speaker, Mel’s background includes live events of up to 700+, plus radio and TV appearances. She likes nothing better than interacting with an audience, or running workshops, and has a passion to help others achieve their potential. Mel blogs regularly on, among other things, Creative Writing, Writing and Publishing, Personality Profiling, personal growth and self-help, relationships, stepfamilies, bereavement and debt. She loves to hear from visitors and always responds to genuine comments and e-mails.
FAMILY, FAITH, BOOK CLUB & CREATIVE WRITING COURSES
Family life is a priority and she and her husband care for two of their grandchildren twice a week - twins aged five, a boy and a girl. She is an active member of a large and lively Baptist Church, where she runs a Book Club. In the past, she and her husband have led Family Forums, Marriage Enrichment Courses and residential Creative Writing Courses.
